Apostille Requests
Italingua Chicago offers apostille services with Express or Standard delivery. Italingua Chicago does NOT PROCESS or CREATE the apostille itself, but we will submit the request to the Secretary of State or to the U.S. Department of State in Washington D.C. on your behalf.
An apostille is the authentication of a document for use outside of the United States. Based on regulations adopted through the Hague Convention, it is the title given to the authentication certificate supplied alongside the original document. An apostille is always signed by a authorized officer or individual. In many cases, this includes Secretary of State, County Clerk, State Registrar, etc. Lastly, the apostille issued by the Secretary of State, State Registrar, etc. will make your documents valid overseas.
